MAGIC BOARD #6
We will explore the different colours of urine and what makes each colour different from the others.
1)Transparent Urine -You are over hydrated which may dilute essential electrolytes in the body and need to reduce your water intake
2)Dark Urine -You are dehydrated and need to increase your water intake
3)Light Yellow Urine -A sign of proper hydration, keep doing what you’re doing
4)Frothy Urine -This can be a sign of kidney disease, kidney damage or simply excess protein which means your kidneys are unable to filter protein properly. Stay hydrated and monitor your protein intake.
5)Orange Urine -It may indicate liver issues, particularly the presence of bilirubin, which can suggest liver dysfunction or conditions like hepatitis or bile duct obstruction. Check if any of your medications are causing this. Consult a healthcare professional.
6)Red Urine -This indicates the presence of blood (hematuria), which may arise from various causes, including urinary tract infections, kidney stones, or more serious conditions such as bladder or kidney cancer. Take it seriously and consult a healthcare professional immediately.
