🚨 Does hip alpha angle (in femoroacetabular impingement) = DOOMSDAY?

😲 I got an email the other day that shocked me...
The content of it wasn't that shocking. It was simply a guy seeking advice on his hip problems.
What was shocking was the attitude of this fella'...
After a few polite back-and-forth's, I started to realize that this guy didn't want help...he wanted confirmation.
...confirmation that a bad "hip alpha angle" definitely requires surgery.
...confirmation that it was OK for him to go ahead and get that surgery.
🤦 You see, this guy hadn't really tried ANY nonsurgical options. He hadn't watched almost any of my free YouTube videos. He hadn't tried more than a bit of foam rolling and some half-hearted attempts at physical therapy.
He basically just wanted to hear what he wanted to hear -
"Go for it! Surgery fixes everything! 100% of the time!"
👉 To be clear: I'm NOT against surgery for FAI at all.
I just think it's the last option after you've tried several cheaper, less invasive, less risky options first! Not exactly a radical idea.
However, sometimes simple logic falls on deaf ears. I created this video as a follow-up to this email exchange in the hopes of helping YOU.
