On Monday, businessman Dinesh Arora will present his disclosure statement in the Delhi Excise Policy case before a Delhi court. The court will also determine whether to permit the CBI to appoint Manish Sisodia's 'close aide' Dinesh Arora, as an approver in the case. In an in-camera hearing, Special Judge M K Nagpal will also hear arguments in support of Arora's request for a pardon and permission to testify in the case. The defendant had already stated to the court his willingness to provide "honest disclosure voluntarily" regarding the case and his desire to serve as an approver. He had stated, "Neither the CBI nor anyone else is exerting pressure or making threats. The CBI did not object, however, to an earlier request for in-camera proceedings made by Arora's attorney on the grounds that it was a sensitive topic and the media should be kept out at this early stage.
