“When everybody is doing what he can do well, then it’s good to join each person’s contribution together, like in a jigsaw,” says Father Johannes, cellarer and Managing Director of the monastic enterprise Ettaler Klosterbetriebe GmbH and the Benedictine Abbey Ettal. Ettaler Klosterbrauerei and Krones joined forces to translate the new brewhouse into tangible reality. To suit their output, the monastic brewery installed a compact brewery CombiCube from Krones with a brew size of 25 hectolitres. And the targeted successes were not slow in coming, especially in regard to more flexible and more energy-economical brewing operations and improved taste stability.
