An interesting hybrid!
Turkish Airlines operates a fleet of 12 Airbus A350-900's. They recently they took over 6 A350's that were destined to be delivered Russian flag carrier, Aeroflot but due to Russian sanctions these aircraft were never delivered.
To have these ex-Aeroflot A350's enter service quicker, Turkish airlines ended up creating this quite interesting hybrid livery; they even left the Aeroflot interiors!
By now, most of these A350's have been re-painted into the standard Turkish livery but there are still a few like this one that is painted in this interesting Turkish-Aeroflot hybrid livery!
Given current events it is very unlikely North America will be seeing Aeroflot anytime soon, so this is a very interesting compromise!
The Turkish Airlines A350 are configured with 32 business seats, and 297 in economy for a total of 329 seats. Turkish still has another 14 A350-900's on order.
Turkish Airlines started flights to Montreal June 3rd 2014, and have been operating A350 service here since March 2021.
