Mikuni square body is regulated to about 4.4 psi as measured with a 0-100 psi 0-5v transducer. Atmospheric pressure is 543 mV, square body tested to 740 mV even revving up. Ratio is 45 mV / psi.

The square body has a significantly lower free flow rate as compared to the Mikuni plastic round body pump as well. The plastic round body comes factory from Polini Thor.
This test is with the Keihin PWK 28 mm carburetor, where the float needle is comically large in the Dellorto VHST; so 4.4 psi would be more total force trying to open the needle, an overflow condition is the only potential downside unless you can regulate the pressure down. McMaster sells minimum opening one-way check valves that could act as a pressure regulator. I've tested one but it was too light of an opening, like 0.5 psi, however that could be sufficient.
Search engine results these days aren't very good, I remember the days of forum posts on your questions being at the top of the pages. These days you have to redo other peoples work I believe, it's called "re-search" for a reason (like someone else searched it out already, you have to re- search for it again).
