As you’re likely aware, the Monadnock Region, like much of the nation, is grappling with a workforce shortage—an issue heighted by the pandemic but that existed long beforehand. It’s going to take creativity and regional collaboration to address this complex, deep-seated challenge.
Recognizing the coordination that is necessary, the Greater Keene and Peterborough Chamber, in partnership with Southwest Region Planning Commission, is organizing a multi-part series to explore various aspects of workforce development in our region: successful models, remaining gaps, and paths forward.
The first session focuses on career pathways for K-12 and community college students. We’ll hear from panelists working in the education and workforce development arena.
