In the latest updates, the Centre has decided to rename Rajpath as Kartavya Path. While addressing a New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) press conference, Union Minister of state for external and cultural affairs Meenakshi Lekhi said that the word Rajpath means that you are taking administrative positions with the idea of doing Raj. While on the other hand, Kartavya Path means duty towards our nation. Kartavya Path will inspire us to do duty towards our nation that's why the government of India decided to rename Rajpath as Kartavya Path.
