We first learnt this song during lockdown and it is very special to the Pink Singers.

The term “chosen family” signifies a group of friends and non-blood relatives who act as a special family alongside or instead of their biological families. It’s a concept prevalent in the queer community.

The song opens with the question “Where do I belong?” It is one that far too many LGBTQ+ people have had to ask themselves as they navigate existing authentically in a world that still largely sees them as “other.”
