Here is a V2 of my Streets of Rage 4 line-in Gamerip.
What is line-in gamerip ?
Line-in Gamerip is basically recording the audio with a male-to-male jack cable plugged to a computer (and a Nintendo Switch in this case). I muted the sound effects and progressed throught stages to record all tracks.
What's new :
- A better mix with shorter tracks : I reduced parts that was repeating for a long time and I improved many transitions. (The V2 is about 2 hours and 25 minutes while the V1 was 2 hours and 39). It's way better to listen).
- An equalization matching from the official OST with a professional tool, making tracks a bit crisper and closer to the OST.
- Volume amplication to the maximum peak amplitude, avoiding clipping.
- Addition of two Bonus tracks : "Rising Up (Extended)" and "It's Extra (Full Mix)", that both plays in the newest update in the game.
The pros of that Gamerip Soundtrack are to have the exact same mix as when you play the game.

Voici la V2 de mon Gamerip line-in de Streets of Rage 4.
Nouveautés :
- Un meilleur mix : les musiques ont été raccourcies, notamment les longs moments répétitifs qui n'apportaient pas grand chose et réduisait l'experience (la V2 dure 02h25 contre 2h39 pour la V1)
- Un filtre d'égalisation adaptatif : j'ai appliqué l'égalisation de l'OST officielle sur le Gamerip avec un logiciel professionel, afin de rendre le son légèrement plus clair et plus proche de celui de l'OST.
- Amplification du volume au point maximum possible avant le clipping (beaucoup d'OST officielles sont clipées, ce qui peut rendre le son légèrement brouillé)
- Ajout de deux pistes en bonus, à savoir Rising Up version longue et It's Extra en version complète (ces deux pistes ne sont disponible dans le jeu que depuis la Mise à jour de Septembre 2020)
L'avantage de ce Gamerip est d'avoir le même mix audio que celui du jeu, avec toutes les parties des musiques (dans l'OST officielle, le mix est différent et ertaines parties des musiques sont manquantes)
