PERPETUAL MOTION: The Douglas DC-3/C-47 Dakota (1994). A tribute of an aircraft that has flown more miles and carried more passengers and cargo than any other aeroplane in the world. It was said that the only replacement for a DC-3 was another DC-3. Douglas built total of 10,655 DC-3/C47s and 487 were built under licence in Japan, plus another 6,157 in Russia as Li-2s. This year she celebrates her 75th birthday on December the 17th 2010. This documentairy features the DC-3s of Aliansa Aerolineas Andinas S.A and her crew.
