The Pingxi Sky Lantern Festival is one of Taiwan's most anticipated attractions. It occurs towards the end of the Chinese New Year holiday celebrations, when hundreds of sky lanterns are launched with people's wishes on them. I had the opportunity to visit Shifen and witness people enjoying the festival. This is an event not to be missed!
