I love the design and use of this computer HOWEVER......... My first Cobalt stopped downloading dives after about 40 dives, I returned it and they replaced it, My second Cobalt completely locked up and froze at 160 Feet on a dive. I returned it and they replaced it. I am now on my Third Cobalt and yesterday after 43 dives total on the computer the air pressure dropped to zero at 60 feet and began showing random numbers. This is crazy, there has to be a design flaw in these computers. What else could cause repeated failure under different conditions? This video is shot after the last dive, on the dive boat, with an empty tank.
My Dive Buddy also uses an Atomic Aquatic Cobalt. Her first computer went dead at 70 feet while diving . She returned it and they replaced it. Her second computer started resetting at 30 feet during dives. She returned it and they fixed it. Her third Cobalt is now rebooting randomly.
They have fabulous customer service but one has to wonder why the computer keeps failing?
