You think it's a guide but it's actually a rant in disguise.

Three things to take away:
1) 50% reduced TP does not mean 50% reduced TP share. Similarly, 10% increased TP does not mean 10% increased TP share. They look like big numbers but aren't as impactful as they initially seem!
2) Trade efficiency from collecting is pretty useful in home node.
3) Try things out

1 thing I forgot to mention is the 5% value increase from merchant steering, but in mid game scenarios it tends to be admissable because you already have other tags steering (so there is already some value increase). You'll only meaningfully contribute to it if your tag order is lower than everyone steering and you have a lot of trade steering in most scenarios. Again, once you WC or have a nice trade chain fully consolidated, then it starts making sense to think about trade steering benefits.
