The Puma Fast-R NITRO Elite is one of the most interesting-looking carbon plate race shoes to date. The split midsole is made of two different foams, a firmer EVA in the heel and the softer, bouncier NITRO Elite foam in the forefoot. That combination is designed to improve running stability and efficiency, working alongside the visible PWRPLATE that runs through the two sections.
Tom and Nick have been testing the shoe out to see if the novel design delivers the goods.
