The development and education of tribal people were highlighted by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday, February 16th 2023 as he opened the Aadi Mahotsav in New Delhi, a festival honouring tribal customs and goods.
The Tribal Cooperative Marketing Development Federation (TRIFED) organizes the Aadi Mahotsav, a tribal festival, to celebrate the spirit of traditional tribal art, culture, crafts, cuisine, and trade. Around 200 stalls during the festival will showcase the rich and diverse cultural heritage of the Indian tribes.
This two-week-long tribal fest is being organized at Major Dhyan Chand National Stadium in Delhi. Go visit the festival and walk through the stalls set by over 1000 tribal artisans.
