No messy kitchen is required when roasting green beans! They are light and healthy summer side dish after just 15 minutes in the oven and they is more sophisticated option to a steamed version 😜
INGREDIENTS
1 pound fresh green beans
2-3 tablespoons olive oil
1 clove fresh garlic
Salt, pepper
bread crumbs mixed with parmesan cheese 1:1 (I used 2 tablespoons of both)
INSTRUCTIONS
Preheat the oven to 450 F
Distribute green beans on the sheet pan.
Toss with olive oil, salt, pepper, crushed garlic, bread crumbs and parmesan cheese.
When beans are covered with seasonings distribute them on the pan evenly, not overcrowding the beans.
Roast for 15 minutes until you see some caramelized spots.
TIP
We've used parchment paper to avoid parmesan cheese burning on the bare pan - if you decide not to use the cheese, you can roast the beans directly on the baking sheet!
