BMW has updated the C 400 GT and C 400 X to comply with the latest European emission norms, Euro5+. In addition, the Bavarian manufacturer has also introduced a number of improvements that make the scooters more practical and look a little different with a distinctive tough touch.
Unfortunately, BMW Motorrad has not tinkered with the powertrain of the middleweight scooters, so the C 400 GT and C 400 X continue to use the 350 cc, liquid-cooled, four-valve single engine that produces 34 bhp and 35 Nm of torque, which is mated to a CVT gearbox. However, a new exhaust that is longer and larger than before has been introduced, which ensures compliance with the Euro5+ emission standards.
To enhance the safety level of both middleweight scooters, BMW Motorrad has also made the tilt-sensitive dynamic brake control and engine resistance torque control standard. Additionally, the BMW C 400 GT and C 400 X get a new 6.5-inch TFT display as standard, and the C 400 GT can be upgraded to a 10.25-inch display.
