You don't have to choose between being a rhythm player or a lead player.

On this video I'm going to show you how to blend the two together.

In order to do that we need to use a slightly overdriven tone and use three notes at a time (triads).

Once we choose our scale we can build the triad with any group of three notes within the scale and embellish it with other notes surrounding the triad.

This is a great way of making music, by exploring the fretboard piece by piece.
