On May 20, 2018 Sange and I were supposed to be at C3 but were delayed while helping save a man's life. We were significantly behind schedule but needed a rest while ascending the Lhotse face. The video was taken in 1080p and 60 fps on a GoPro Hero 5.
The sun was dehydrating us further and we still had to finish climbing the Lhotse Face hockey stick path, where we found the man we just saved, dying as nobody stopped to help him. It was very emotional and we needed to get over the idea that it could have been us instead of him in order to have a sliver of a chance to summit Everest and Lhotse.
Sange and I summited Everest on May 23, 2018 at 5:30 AM local time.
