🦊 In this GCSE Biology video, we look at lipids, which are fats and oils comprised of fatty acids and glycerol, are digested in the body through the action of lipases. These enzymes, produced in the pancreas, break down lipids into fatty acids and glycerol, which are then used to build new lipids for tissue construction, body insulation, organ protection, and energy storage.
