U.S. Air Force fighter aircraft depart from Nellis AFB, NV as part of Red Flag 17-01. The aircraft include F-35A Lightning II's from the 34th Fighter Squadron, Rude Rams. The 34th FS is part of Air Combat Command's 388th Fighter Wing located on Hill AFB, UT. This marks the F-35A Lightning II's first time participating in a Red Flag exercise.
