In today's video, we decided to go to one of the oldest roadside attractions in the US called Sunken Gardens. Sunken Gardens is located in St. Petersburg, Florida and it did not disappoint! It is a botanical paradise that is 100-years-old and has some of the oldest tropical plants in the region. We really liked how they gave you a map with different numbers so you could see exactly where you are. Also, there are a lot of picture opportunities! There are several animals there including birds, flamingos, and turtles. It was really cool to see all the old plants. One plant that was very cool was a tree that looked like it was fake and looked like it had been colored with oil pastels. We couldn't believe it was real!! It is also a very peaceful place just to go sit on a bench and listen to the water flowing. A couple of other cool things were the old Koi Fish and also the old bridge that you could go across and get a really nice photo. One thing we didn't get on film was that they have a nice little spot where people get married and it was beautiful. At the end of the walk, you are taken right in to the gift shop which has a lot of really neat stuff. There is a kids play museum and gift shop on the other side of that building as well that we didn't go in. It was a fantastic day at Sunken Gardens and if you are looking for something to do in St. Petersburg, Florida, stop here and enjoy it! If you have not yet subscribed and wouldn't mind helping us out, that would be great! Thanks so much for watching. God Bless!
