That’s it - that was the last remaining speedrun of Mirrors Edge that I needed to do. It’s kinda of funny to be don’t with the speedruns but I was ready to make it happen. I spent 6 hours between yesterday and today just fine tuning and working on this speedrun.

I just wanted to go out with a bang on this one: not die, get a decent time, optimize my time where I could, all the juicy stuff. And I have to say I’m proud of myself. I learned a lot about this game, and the speedruns forced me to be better than I needed to be. So I need to be grateful for the challenge; the victory can be its own thing.

Mirror’s Edge is a difficult game at times. Maybe difficult isn’t the correct word. “Finicky” or maybe “highly situational”. Regardless you have to put the time in to get a feel of your spacing and momentum.

From here it’s a cakewalk, hop, skip, and a jump or two. Next time I’m completing the game on Hard difficulty in a single playthrough, and I will be unlocking my final two achievements for the. And one of them is a secret;I wonder what it could be? Until next time.
