A team of U of T Engineering researchers has developed an improved system for transforming waste CO2 into ethylene and other commercially valuable chemicals. The team includes MIE PhD candidate Adnan Ozden, who is supervised by Professor David Sinton (MIE), as well as several members of Professor Ted Sargent’s (ECE) team, including PhD candidate Joshua Wicks, postdoctoral fellow F. Pelayo García de Arquer and former postdoctoral fellow Cao-Thang Dinh.
