The police in Yobe State have arrested two soldiers, over the murder of an Islamic cleric, Sheikh Goni Gashua. He was killed on Friday in Karasuwa Local Government Area of the State.

According to a member of the vigilante in the state, one of the soldiers requested for a lift from the cleric, who was returning to Yobe from Kano.
