China last year overtook the United States as the EU's largest trading partner, EU statistics agency Eurostat said on Monday. Both imports and exports between China and the EU increased last year despite the pandemic. The EU's trade with the U.S. dropped significantly in 2020, with a 13.2-percent dip in imports and 8.2-percent in exports, Eurostat said.
