"Your Navigation System's voice guidance function makes pertinent announcements when you approach an intersection, corner, or other guidepost along the route. It gives turning instructions and announces the remaining distance to the destination. Directions are given in ample time to prepare and proceed.
Press the VOICE button on the control panel to repeat voice guidance. To turn the voice guidance ON or OFF:
● Press the ROUTE button,
● Touch GUIDANCE SETTINGS, then
● Touch GUIDANCE VOICE to toggle the feature on or off. The indicator illuminates if voice guidance is activated.
To adjust the volume, touch GUIDANCE VOLUME on the GUIDANCE SETTINGS menu and then touch the PLUS or MINUS key to raise or lower the volume.
