As a close competitor to my favorite go-to fresh Chinese Noodle spot comes...The Magic Noodle.
With the same operating hours of 11am-9:30pm 7 days a week, they offer an authentic taste into Chinese cuisine. If you were wondering whether to give this place a try or not...don't wonder. Just do it. It's worth it. For me, it comes into a close 2nd place to my favorite, the Shang Artisan Noodle. Maybe I have higher expectations due to my biased taste buds, or maybe because most of us are resistant to change. I'd like to give The Magic Noodle another side-by-side comparison someday and see if they can at least tie...or beat Shang Artisan Noodle.
My first visit here was pleasant. I arrived right at opening and was seated immediately. Service was quick, and like most Asian restaurants, they leave you alone to enjoy your meal, with an occasional water-refill and "do you need anything?" Prices are relatively decent and close to Shang as well. With a total bill of $39 with tax minus tip...it's a great option for a lunch outing.
