Quelfire’s products are all independently tested at Warringtonfire, which is a UKAS accredited certification body. A significant proportion of annual investment goes into research and development in order to provide the construction industry with primary test evidence over engineering judgements.
One of the unique details we have tested is with metal socket boxes. Unlike other manufacturers, which typically have an allowance of 200mm, we now have an allowance for a gap of 20mm between two electric socket boxes.
Another unique feature we have tested is a 5mm gap between the socket box and the last layer of plasterboard.
