Inky dark purple core. Modern and fleshy nose with smoke, roasted oak, coffee and layers of dark fruit. The palate is dense and weighty, yet fresh with fine extract, grainy tannin, plush new oak and spice notes, and a very long and muscular finish. A bold and modern example but nicely balanced with a nice freshness underneath.
