Ingredients
For Undrallu
2 tbsp - butter/ghee
1.5 cups - rice flour
1/4 cup - sugar
1/2 tsp - green cardamom powder
400 ml - milk

For Payasam
750 ml - milk
1/4 cup - sugar
1/2 tsp - green cardamom powder

optional ingredients for garnish
10 - pistachio, chopped
saffron strands few
rose petals few

Method
Undrallu
In a kadai, add 2tbsp butter or ghee.
Once ghee melts, add 1.5 cups rice flour
roast for 2 mins or until rawness goes away
add 1/4 cup sugar and mix well until sugar melts
once sugar metls, add green cardamom powder
mix well and add 400ml milk gradually by mixing
it takes about 2-5 minutes to absorb milk completely
once done, turn off the flame and let it cool completely
once cooled, make lemon sized balls and keep aside

Payasam
In a kadai, add 750 ml milk, 1/4 cup sugar, 1/2 tsp green cardamom powder
let the milk boil and then and rice flour balls
let it cook for 10 mins on low flame
balls will absorb milk and turn soft and flavorful
turn off the flame

Undralla Payasam is ready

Garnish with chopped pistachio, saffron and rose petals
