Song: Reality Check Through The Skull -- DM DOKURO
This is a stress test of the Tundra Trackers. They preform decently well when not attached to the body, but when all 3 are connected to the super dongle they tend to glitch out.
The tracking when half covered performed better than expected, but the recovery time of the tundra tracker wasn't fast enough to be able to beat the song.
So:
Pros:
-Lightweight
-functions well enough when half covered
-long lasting battery
-small
-Easy first time setup
Cons:
-Unreliable customer service
-needs to be in full view of base stations to recover quickly
-tracking tends to be about 2 centimeters off
-as expensive as vive trackers
-small
-tends to disconnect and lose tracking for a few minutes randomly even in full view of base stations
-drifts *ALOT*
-half the stuff it used to come with is no longer in it (with a price jump)
-tends to crash my Steam VR in boot
-after the first setup it isn't nice to you
-the dongle refused to work after first setup and worked after 3 reboots of Steam VR
Summary: Just deal with 3.0 trackers for now.
I'll be posting a full review sometime this week, and talk/show most of these points
