This video is a demonstration of the Cozen’s Test. The purpose of the Cozen's Test is to test the integrity of Extensor Carpi Radialis Longus and Brevis tendons where a positive Cozen's Test could indicate a potential diagnosis of Tennis Elbow or Lateral Epicondylitis.
With your patient seated, get your patient to fully pronate their forearm. While palpating their lateral epicondyle, ask your patient to move their wrist into extension and radial deviation where you will be resisting their movement. The Cozen's Test is positive if there is pain reproduction at the common extensor origin near the lateral epicondyle of the humerus.
