Build an AutoStryfe using simple geometry 3D printed parts and off the shelf 130 motor 90 degree gearboxes (average price: $2) commonly used for Arduino controlled rovers.
This will work with Stryfe shells modified for internal LiPo installation (i.e. battery tray has been cut out).
Rate of fire is based upon the 130 motor installed in the gear box. For a simple AutoStryfe conversion without electronic fire control, a lower rate of fire (5-7 shots per second) allows for semi-auto shots with minimal effort. At an RoF of about 10 shots per second and above, single shots are unreliable with most trigger taps resulting in 2 shot bursts.
130 motor used: Hyperfire flywheel motor = 6-7 darts per second on 2s LiPo, 10 darts per second on 3s.
