This is a classic early guitar by Ervin Somogyi. It is characterized by strong mids and a balanced overall sound. If you are fan of Somogyi guitars and want something unique to fill out your collection this will be worth looking at.
This is a great example of Ervin's early mastery of steel-string guitar construction. The voice is very responsive, and goes from 0 to 11 on the volume knob pretty much instantaneously. Newer Somogyi guitars might benefit from his evolved voiced techniques, but this Mod D has 30 years of getting played in and opening up going for it; something you need to hear for yourself firsthand. - [ Ссылка ]
