The Child’s Play/Chucky series has taken many forms over its 30+ years and it’s given birth to one of the most hilarious and twisted slasher icons of all time: Charles Lee Ray. Whether he’s hunting down children to hide his soul in, murdering people just for the fun of it, or trying to talk kids into killing each other, he still manages to make us laugh. There’s no other slasher king that seems to love their work quite as much as Chucky. In this retrospective The Lamphouse covers everything that made him what he is today.
