Stuffed Egg Bajji Recipe | Egg Pakora | Street Style Egg Bonda | Evening Snacks | Deccan Flavors
Ingredients
Boiled Eggs - 6
Ingredients for Stuffing
2 tbsp - oil
1 onion, chopped finely
2 green chilis, chopped finely
1 tsp red chili powder
1 tsp garam masala
salt to taste
egg yolks
For Batter
3/4 cup Besan / Gram flour
2 tbsp rice flour
salt to taste
1 tsp red chili powder
water as required
For Deep frying
Oil - for deep frying
Preparation
Stuffing Preparation
cut boiled eggs into half lengthwise.
Remove the egg yolks
In a pan heat 2 tbsp oil
add onions and sauté until tender
add ginger garlic paste and sauté for a minute
add green chilis, salt, red chili powder and garam masala
sauté for a minute
now add egg yolks
mix well by mashing yolks
turn off when well combined
keep aside
Batter Preparation
To a mixing bowl add gram flour, besan, salt and red chili powder
mix well
now start adding water gradually
keep mixing
consistency should be like Dosa Batter keep aside
Bajjis
Assemble the Eggs by stuffing the prepared masala in the egg yolk position. Keep it aside
Heat oil in a deep pan for frying. Now gently dip each stuffed egg in the batter and drop it in the hot oil.
Fry the bajji until it turns golden in color on medium flame.
transfer fried bajjis to a paper towel
serve hot with tomato ketchup.
