Vegas in 2019! 4 simple ways to get Room Upgrades, Comps, Save Money and Have a better experience in Vegas. Vegas has always been an obnoxiously fun place to visit. Things have changed in 2019. Here are 4 detailed tips to help you have the best trip for whatever you're looking for.
First up, Comps. You're probably aware that if you show up at a casino spending thousands of dollars at a table, you'll catch the attention of the host who will start offering you free rooms, show tickets & experiences. This is still true, but now a days, it's mostly kept track of through your players card. What's great about the players card; you can use it in a way where you can get more comps than someone spending even more than you. I realized, the way I naturally gamble is great for earning points. I like to move around a lot. I whenever I start winning a lot, I usually walk away before I give the winnings back, and whenever I start loosing, I always bounce before I loose all my cash. This is great for earning points because I'm constantly going to tables, exchanging cash for chips and that's the majority of what the system sees. This also becomes easier since most of the hotels there are owned by just two companies: MGM Resorts owns the MGM Grand, Mirage, City Center, Luxor, New York New York, Park MGM, Excalibur and Caesars Entertainment owns, Caesars Palace, Flamingo, Planet Hollywood, Paris, The Linq, Harrahs and Ballys.
Number 2. Room upgrades!
I did a full video just on this topic link here: [ Ссылка ] This is something I find hilarious because there's tons of videos on here of people coming up with weird, complex strategies to get simple room upgrades. The main one I keep seeing is people telling you to tip the person at the front desk twenty dollars or just keep a 20 visible when asking for an upgrade. I did a full video on this link above but put simply, as long as it's a simple upgrade, I usually get it for free when inquiring. I always get normal rooms free with just a resort fee & suites at a discount.
3rd. Don't gamble just to get a free drink or even comps. As many know, this is an amazing perk but even though drinks are expensive there, you'll always loose more money then if you just bought the drink.
4th: Prices are rising there. Even at chains and franchises like McDonalds and Starbucks where anything you get can be more than double the price that it is usually. The solution, do all your shopping for snacks, drinks and small food items at one of the CVS or Wallgreens on the strip where at least as of recording this video, prices are unchanged.
Also a note on the Comps: Earning actual points to use as cash takes some time. I never do this. Every time I come into town, I just call the place I want to stay at, give them my players card information, and they always comp me a room. I get regular rooms completely comped and suites at a discount.
Rooms featured in this video most to least expensive: Planet Hollywood Panorama suite, Elara Penthouse 2 bedroom, Cosmopolitan resort vista with fountain view, Bellagio resort king, that deal suite at the Venetian... I don't know what it's called. I guess I could look it up but like, whatever!
