Patan Durbar Square is located at Lalitpur and is an ancient, historical UESCO SITE listed first in 1979.
The square is full of ancient places, temples, and shrines noted for their exquisite carvings. The former royal palace complex is the center of Patan's religious and social life and houses a museum containing an array of bronze statues and religious objects.
I love the fact that this square was long ago used by kings and ministers and that I am walking freely in it.
This time we are exploring particular places like MAHA BUDDHA TEMPLE, ASHOKA STUPA, and the food of the Newari ethnicity.
