3. **List Making**: Before going to the grocery store, I always make a list and strictly adheres to it, focusing on items that are on sale.
4. **Checking Ads**: I check grocery store ads online, which are updated every Wednesday, to find deals and lost leaders (highly discounted items to attract customers).
5. **Lowe's Supermarket**: The nearest grocery store is Lowe's supermarket. I review their ads and only buy items on sale, such as pork loins if they are a good deal.
6. **Digital Coupons**: I explain the use of digital coupons, which require downloading the store’s app, clipping the coupons, and applying them during checkout using a phone number or QR code.
7. **Sale Items for Holidays**: I mention buying food items on sale during holidays like Memorial Day, which is a good time to stock up on items like hot dogs and chips.
8. **Price Comparisons**: For items not on sale, such as olive oil or fresh veggies, I compare prices with Walmart online and notes the cheaper option.
9. **Flexible Shopping Strategy**: If the prices at the local store are comparable to Walmart, I buy locally; otherwise, they wait or I use alternatives like canned goods.
