This Siegmund sliding base provides an extra axis of adjustment when used with cast clamping squares and slotted adjustable squares. It is especially useful for fitting pipe flanges when used with the clamping plate S2-280252. The sliding base should be attached to the table with flat clamping bolts, p/n S2-280522. Siegmund fixtures are designed around 28mm diameter work holes on a 100mm grid spacing and 25mm fixture and table thickness. Siegmund has designed fast clamping bolts to work with tables from other manufacturers that may have a slightly different table thickness.
