Nobel Laureate Sir Anthony Leggett discusses why he has spent the last six summers lecturing and collaborating at the University of Waterloo's Institute for Quantum Computing. Since 2006, Leggett has held the Mike & Ophelia Lazaridis Distinguished Research Chair at IQC. He says "IQC has established itself as the leading institution in the world in quantum information."
Leggett was one of three scientists to share the 2003 Nobel Prize in Physics for important contributions to low-temperature physics and superfluidity. He is contracted to spend the next four summers at the Institute for Quantum Computing.
