When on January 25, 2018 some very questionable decisions were made by EuroLeague's referees (Miguel Perez Perez, Milivoje Jovcic, Jakub Zamojski) during Žalgiris Kaunas vs. Panathinaikos Athens match, Žalgiris fans decided that it's time to act and show unity. The last straw was when on January 30, 2018 the head coach of the team Šarūnas Jasikevičius received a fine from the league for criticizing the referees. So, on February 1, 2018 during the next game against Maccabi Tel Aviv Žalgiris Kaunas fans Green White Boys alongside casual fans decided to whistle and play their horn sirens so loud, totally ignoring the EuroLeague's theme song, thus protesting against all of their decisions regarding this whole situation.
