A heads-up from very special Railfan Friends made us aware the CSX 4568 Operation Lifesaver Special 50th Anniversary Engine would be passing through town leading a train east. Operation Lifesaver is a non-profit organization dedicated to grade crossing safety and education. Painted by CSX in Huntington, West Virginia and released in September of 2022, it honors the 50th Anniversary from 1972 to 2022. Another exciting and great start to the day.
