On Saturday, March 24, 2018 at 2:30 am, the victim, a 61 year-old-female, took a cab to Allegheny Avenue and East Thompson Street. After exiting the taxi an unknown male ran up behind her and began slapping her. After causing the victim to fall to the ground the suspect took the complainant’s black cross-body bag containing $15, social security card, identification, and LG flip phone. After taking the victim's belongings the suspect fled on foot and was last seen towards Thompson Street then west on Allegheny Avenue. The victim was transported by Fire Department Rescue Medic 8 to Hahnemann Hospital where she was treated for pain to her left side and listed in stable condition.
