Kanye West and President Trump had a wild meeting today at the Oval Office. Kanye sat across from the President wearing a red Make American Great Again Hat and surrounded by reporters they had a free-wheeling discussion. Trump exclaimed that Kanye QUOTE “has been a friend of mine for a long time”. And Kanye went into a 10 minute monologue that talked about the prison system, his mental health, and the importance of improving life for African Americans in inner cities, ad Chicago specifically. Kanye also talked about the type of plane Donald trump should fly in at one point– you know the important stuff.
There has obviously been a lot of controversy surrounding Kanye’s support for Trump and him wearing Trumps MAGA hat, and during Ye’s monologue he also admitted QUOTE “There was something about putting this hat on that made me feel like Superman".
Trump told reporters that Kanye has been a terrify guy. He said QUOTE “You know, he loves what we're doing for African-American jobs, for so many different things. Median income, as you see, at an all-time high. Poverty level at the best rate -- meaning the lowest rate so far. And Kanye is a smart guy. And he sees that."
Then Trump was asked by reporters if Kanye could be a future presidential candidate.
