The C sharp Minor fugue by J.S.Bach (book 1 of the well-tempered klavier) is a majestic piece, old style in a way. One could say Bach follows the old examples of the big Sweelinck phantasies. Starting really slow, building the movement by increasing note values.
There is one big trap in the game here: starting too fast !
