My 1980 Maserati Kyalami 4.9. A 3 owner car. The first owner was a crime boss from Vienna - Eduard Höbaus. Allegedly he controlled the prostitution scene in Vienna with some friends. Things got a bit rough when the Serbian Mafia moved in on the area later on. I have decided to make some videos where I talk a bit so that there will be more information about why I own the cars and why I collect them. This came about because of the circumstances around the big barn find sale in the Netherlands. A guy named Palmen had collected 230 cars - and it seems he was living among the cars in one of his 3 locations where he had the cars stored. He managed to start a fire and when the fire department was called the collection was discovered. Palmen it seems was moved to a retirement home and his cars put up for sale. I tried to find som more information about Mr. Palmen as it interested me to learn more about him. Who he was and how he had made his money and so on. But very little information is there. Then I watched another video where they had opened up the collection for showing the cars before the auction. Seeing all the people walk around - touch and tamper with his cars - it felt really bad. Just disrespectful. He had lived with the cars and not showed them to anybody and all of a sudden people where all over the place. That is life....and we never truly own anything - we just take care of it for a while. But it still made me wish there were more information about Palmen. So I will provide a little insight into why I have my cars..where the original videos and walkarounds on exhibitions were mainly visual as they were made for myself to look at when I sit in a hotel room some place in the world after a hard workday.
