In this video I teach you step by step how to make powerful contact with the barbell and your hips in the snatch and the clean. For the snatch, the contact should happen in the crease of the hips, and in the clean, the barbell should contact the high thighs.
Practicing the drills I show in this video will help you understand the theory behind how and why you should make aggressive contact with the barbell and your body. It takes time, but if you are consistent, this will help you lift more weight and have better timing!
